Therapeutic Boarding Schools: Finding the Right One for My Teen

Therapeutic Boarding Schools: What Is Right For My Teen?

Being an educated parent

Help Your Teens bigstock-Mother-And-Young-Daughter-In-P-252906961-300x200 Therapeutic Boarding Schools: Finding the Right One for My Teen You’ve been struggling with your teenager. You’ve exhausted your local resources.

Your teen refuses to attend therapy, has become a child you barely recognize and what’s worse is — they were once a really great kid!

When good kids start making bad choices what do you do?

They’ve gone from honor roll, or at least an A-B student to barely passing. They used to play sports or cheer or dance or participate in extracurricular activities that they enjoyed – now they have either dropped out or were asked to leave.

You have heard about teen help programs, you jump online and you start the Google search.

Wow, it’s scary! So many choices – who do you believe? Anyone can build a great website – but is the program what the screen says?

Trust me, I know. I was once in your shoes — and I made some very poor choices.

However there are some really great programs in our country to help you help your teenager today.

My organization is about educating you to find those healthy, qualified options.

You will soon realize that there are many sales people out there — offering the “best schools” or the “best christian schools” or the “best residential program” without taking a moment to know what your unique needs are.

Help Your Teens PixabayMoney-1-300x212 Therapeutic Boarding Schools: Finding the Right One for My Teen Keep in mind, as you will soon realize, is the sticker shock.  Quality residential therapy that has credentialed staffing and accredited academics as well enrichment programs (such as animal assisted programs, sports, arts, music, etc), will start between $5000-7500 a month and up.

Please note that PPO insurance is usually accepted, depending on your policy, IEP’s are sometimes accepted, and most programs have educational loans.

If you have Medicaid or HMO and are reliant on that to cover your costs, you need to contact your local office for programs that accept that insurance.

Making a choice of a teen help program is not a major financial decision — it’s a huge emotional decision.  Let’s be sure it’s the right one.

Parents’ Universal Resource Experts can help you educate you on different programs we have visited, feedback on programs other families have experienced as well as research we have acquired since 2001 to the present time.

Being an educated parent, you are likely to make better choices for your family.

We offer free consultations.
